Noureen DeWulf

American actress Noureen deWulf (nee Ahmed), is She is well-known for her roles in films such as West Bank Story (2005), Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009), and The Back-up Plan (2010). She also played Lacey on the sitcom Anger Management (2012 from 2012 to 2014). DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed. She was from the city of her birth, a New York City native, to Gujarati Indian parents, from Pune, Maharashtra. She lived in Stone Mountain in Georgia. She was educated Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She is the younger sister of two. Aziza, Aziza's older sister is a professor of law at Northeastern University, Boston. Sara, her younger sister, is an San Francisco lawyer. DeWulf was a theatre student and studied international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting. She speaks fluently in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf began her acting career in the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story, where she played the leading role of Fatima who is a singer and dancing Palestinian cashier who finds love with an Israeli soldier. Since then, she has worked in comedy television series and in films. She played recurring roles on the NBC series Outsourced as well as TNT's Hawthorne between 2009 and. DeWulf also appeared in Maneater which is the Lifetime miniseries. She was in Matthew McConaughey's romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Jeremy Piven in The Goods : Live Hard, Sell Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2010 and was her main character. The actress also appeared in The Taqwacores (2010) which debuted at the Sundance Film festival in 2010.
