Sarah Chalke
Sarah Chalke was born on 27 August 1976
in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Angie Chalke, and Doug Chalke are her parents.
Sarah is the middle child. She has an older sister, Natasha Chalke and one
younger sister, Piper Chalke. Sarah began her acting career in the film City
Boy (1992), a made for television movie. In 1993, following her debut film, she
was a candidate for the part of "Becky" on the TV series Roseanne
(1988). The show was searching for someone to fill in for Alicia Goranson quit
the show to go to college. Sarah graduated from high school in 1995, and was
involved in the production of Roseanne (1988) from 1994 to 1995. Also, in 1994,
Sarah co-starred in the film, Ernest Goes to School (1994) alongside Jim
Varney. Then, in 1996 she starred in 2 films that included Robin of Locksley
(1996) as well as Stand Against Fear (1996) in which she played the
cheerleadernamed "Krista Wilson". In 1998, a year after Roseanne
(1988) was over, Sarah was asked to act in a show called Nothing Too Good for a
Cowboy (1998). Based on Nothing Too Good For a Cowboy (1998) The show also had
a basis. In 1993 she took over Becky's role on Roseanne (1988). She declared
that she'd like to retire from acting and pursue a degree in college. [2001]
(1993-1997) She played Sara Gilbert's elder sister in the show Roseanne (1988),

Appeared in local Vancouver theatre productions at the age of 8. A native
speaker of French and German. She helps out at a hospice where sick children
receive treatment and also works with the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund. In
her leisure moments, Chalke prefers cooking with acquaintances (especially Thai
and sushi) as well as playing the guitar, hiking, skiing (she's an instructor)
or snowboarding, kayaking and reading. Her father is an attorney and both
parents operate a child-adoption agency. She went with her parents to China two
years ago to assist in coordinating the adoptions of numerous orphans.
